I’m always interested in finding new fonts and I recently came across this new website that allows you to create your own fonts using a really cool looking online editor. Even if you don’t have the skills or time to build your own, you can download any user’s fonts or use it as a starting point for your design.
Check it out at http://fontstruct.fontshop.com/

Google Maps has opened a new door to viewing our world with Street View. Now you can view an area from street level and even interact with it by moving the camera. It is limited right now to 5 cities (San Francisco, New York, Denver, Las Vegas and Miami). I wonder how long it will take them to get the rest of the world?
Here a video demo:

I stumbled across this fun little web diversion that lets you draw a character and then it automatically animates into a little dance. Very fun and entertaining, give it a try. Here is my creation: Bender from one of my favorite TV shows, Futurama.
If you make one, be sure to post the link in the comments. My son and I are having fun making them together. Let’s see what you can do!

Now I don’t have a TiVo, but I just stumbled across a new program called One True Media that allows you to create videos and share them with your family and friends straight to their TiVo. The program is still in beta and they allow you to upload 5 videos during this trial. I don’t know how much it will cost when final, but this just goes along with what I was talking about in yesterday’s post about digital delivery.
So if anyone has a TiVo give this a try and let all of us know how it works. This could be a good reason to get a TiVo, imagine having basically your own channel to put all of your video samples or even deliver the final product to client who have TiVO…. Interesting times!

Can you image the possiblities of this type of program? Think about if they were able to link stills from video and then have that still image link to the video. It could revolutionize how we view the web in general. Anyway it’s a cool concept I stumbled upon, check it out!

This has got to be one of the coolest incredible machine videos I have seen, but the best part has got to be the the awesome music! ;-) I love the creativity and ingenuity that goes into making all of these contraptions.
