Heading to Orlando
I’m heading out to Orlando in the morning for the 4Ever Group Video08, I hope to see many of you out there. Don’t miss my seminar on creative DVD techniques Wednesday afternoon. It should be really good for those of you wanting to make cool hoolywood style motion menu’s for your video productions and learn some creative tricks using the entire Adobe Creative Suite.
4Ever Group’s annual conference is always a good time to recharge your batteries with fresh new creative ideas and reconnect with your colleges across the nation. I especially like the closeness of the group, where I feel more of a member than just a number. So if your not planning on coming, it’s not too late

IVA Midwest Expo: “Easy, Creative Templates”
The Illinois Videographers Association (based in the Chicagoland area) will be hosting the first IVA Midwest Expo on Tuesday, May 15, 2007. I will be presenting a seminar titled “After Effects: Easy, Creative Templates” where we will delve into the creation and usage of re-usable templates in Adobe After Effects.
You can also catch the great presentations of the Pixelpops dudes (Lance Gray and Brian Gunn), Kris Malandruccolo, Keith Kelly, and Chris Chibucos. Wonderful Week at 4EG Video07
The 4EG Video07 has just come to a close and I wanted to report what a wonderful event it has been. There have been many amazing seminars by some of the most talented individuals in our industry and I know I will be coming home with several ideas to put into my business right away.
One of the highlights for me was the “Live Edits” and being able to take a peek behind the scenes of other videographers editing process. Experiencing the reasoning behind why they choose this clip or this audio, etc. was a very enlightening learning experience.
I also wanted to thank everyone who attended both of my seminars and I hope you have enjoyed them. If anyone ever needs help with something in After Effects don’t hesitate to ask.
Josh Fozzard to speak at the upcoming 4EVER Group Convention
I will be presenting two seminars at the upcoming 4EVER Group Video 07 Convention in Jacksonville, FL January 8-11, 2007. Last year’s inaugural event was a blast and I highly recommend coming, not only for the educational benefits, but purely for the friendship and networking that happens.
I will be presenting an introductory After Effects workshop and a seminar discussing the future of photomontage productions. I will post more details on my seminar’s date and times when they become available.
